The St. Louis Cannamoms Story
Meet the woman behind STL Cannamoms
STL Cannamoms started the same way a lot of great things do, with a “highdea” and a whole lot of heart.
Back in 2022, I was four kids deep, exhausted, and trying to find balance between motherhood, healing, and rediscovering who I was. I had just stepped into the cannabis industry as a budtender, and quickly realized something was missing a safe space for moms like me. Moms who consume. Moms who love their kids fiercely but also need space to breathe, connect, and be themselves without judgment.
So I started a Facebook group just a simple idea to bring local moms together to talk openly about life, parenting, and cannabis. It was supposed to be small… but within three months, over 600 women had joined. The messages started pouring in: “I finally don’t feel alone.” “I’ve been waiting for something like this.”
That’s when I realized STL Cannamoms was more than a group, it was a movement.
We hosted our first brunch as a little “icebreaker,” and it sold out. One event turned into another, and before long, we were throwing full-blown community experiences with vendors, brands, raffles, giveaways, and laughter filling every corner. Now, our private community has grown to over 4,500 members, real moms showing up for each other, healing together, and rewriting what it means to be a cannabis consuming parent.
STL Cannamoms has since been featured on CNN, Fox News, St. Louis Public Radio, and more proof that this conversation matters. What started as one mom’s idea to find her village has evolved into a platform amplifying women’s voices in cannabis, creating brand partnerships, and breaking stigma nationwide.
This community was built on love, honesty, and shared experience. Every event, every connection, every laugh til you cry moment is rooted in that same truth: moms deserve spaces where they can be real without shame.
If you’ve been looking for your people, welcome home. 💚
